Patricio's 1972 Super Beetle

This is my 1972 1302S Volkswagen Super Beetle. I have had it since 1980 and I am the second owner of this Beetle. For over 30 years me, my wife and children have learned how to drive in a "Pichirilo", the name by which they are known by in Ecuador.We have had several accidents in our Beetle that have all been repaired locally, but now it is in its best condition ever as I have invested over 5,000 dollars in its restoration. I have given it a bit more power by installing an 1800cc engine and I have updated the brakes by fitting 4-wheel disc brake system.I have incorporated a temperature sensor, tachometer, ammeter, and a larger oil cooler. The seats were also changed and interior was completly reupholstered. Now I use it as my daily driver to transport my wife and I in the city of Quito, Ecuador.
